  6. Chris

Jury still out on Gutsi but I keep the faith and have taken out a
subscription. Some days better than others, but I’m hoping with long term use my gut will settle with no more uncomfortable bloating.

The Gutsi® difference

Microbiologist-formulated
Formulator Kiran Krishnan is a research Microbiologist who has spent the last decade studying the strains used in Gutsi® SporeBiotic™
100% spore based
Did you know that Bacillus probiotic species have the ability to form an endospore (spore), which protects the bacterium from heat, acidity, radiation & chemicals?
Probiotics + antioxidants
All humans have binding sites for Bacillus strains, which effectively colonise & naturally produce antioxidants in the digestive tract.
Designed by Nature
The spore strains used in Gutsi® SporeBiotic™ live in the soil. We maintain spore diversity by interacting with dirt in our environment. Bacillus spores effectively colonise the human GI tract and create diversity in gut microflora.
Stomach survivor
Bacillus spores have a bi-phasic life cycle and are biologically designed to survive digestion thanks to the tough outer shell of the endospore.
Efficacy with antibiotics
Bacillus spores are inherently strong enough to withstand broad-spectrum antibiotics. Bacillus subtilis, HU58™ actually produces over 12 effective antibugs, naturally!
DNA verified strains
We guarantee potency throughout shelf life with researched, well-defined strains which have undergone laboratory analysis and 3rd party verification.
No refrigeration required
True probiotics don’t need refrigeration. If it can’t survive outside of the fridge, how is it going to survive in our body?
5-year shelf life
Spore-forming bacillus have been naturally found in the environment for millions of years and are capable of living longer than us! The oldest known bacterial spore ever documented was 250 million years old and found in salt crystals in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
100x better survival
Research shows that spores have 100x better survival than leading probiotic brands or yoghurt.* *Studies available upon request
Prebiotics function
Gutsi® SporeBiotic™ contains cellulose from acacia wood fibre that acts as a prebiotic for gut bacteria. The four spore strains and cellulose are encapsulated in a vegetarian capsule made of cellulose from pine trees and water.

What are spores and how do they work?

Spores, short for endospores, are like dormant seeds of bacteria that are not biologically active until the conditions are hospitable. Bacillus species endospores create resilient barriers that are resistant to heat, acidity, radiation and chemicals. Once the spores reach the gut, they can sense that the conditions are suitable for survival. All humans have binding sites for Bacillus spores. This means that they can resume their active form to germinate and grow to help to recondition your gut and balance your healthy microbiome!

Bacillus indicus, HU36™
Bacillus coagulans (SC-208)
Bacillus clausii (SC-109)
Bacillus subtilis, HU58™
Bacillus indicus, HU36™
B.indicus produces carotenoids (antioxidants) at the site of absorption in the gastrointestinal tract, including lycopene, astaxanthin, beta-carotene and lutein. It also produces quinols and vitamins.
Bacillus coagulans (SC-208)
Research shows that B.coagulans balances the commensal gut microbiota. This strain supports healthy bowel movements and overall digestion in adults with occasional constipation. It also produces L+ optical form of lactic acid.
Bacillus clausii (SC-109)
B.clausii is commonly used as a probiotic to support balance in the microbiome. A potent immune booster, it has the ability to resist damage from a variety of antibiotics by going back into its spore state and can be used in adjunct with antibiotic therapy to keep the organisms balanced in the gut.
Bacillus subtilis, HU58™
B.subtilis is a heavily researched strain which produces over 12 effective natural microbial fighters. This strain also produces Nattokinase, B Vitamins and Vitamin K2.

Formulated with nature in mind

In order for a probiotic to be effective, it needs to contain the same friendly bacteria found in the natural environment. Bacillus spores have been found in the environment for millions of years and have developed a symbiotic relationship with their human host. In fact, we maintain spore diversity by interacting with dirt in our environment! Our ancestors derived probiotic benefits from inadvertently consuming Bacillus spores on a regular basis. Nowadays, we tend to eat foods that are sterilised, sanitised and genetically modified, which strips out the good bacteria from them. As a result, many of us are deficient in these keystone microbes – which is why supplementation is the next best option.
